BACKSTROM iMPACT is a consulting firm specialising in organisational and business development. We provide support to boards, executive teams, and workgroups, as well as to leaders, managers, and employees. Our work is based on scientifically proven theories, concepts, and processes, including Developmental Leadership (UL), Indirect Leadership (IL), Developmental Employee-ship (UM), and the Management Team Assessment Model (MTAM). With a high level of personal engagement, we work with both the private and public sectors.

We have conducted various process-oriented training programmes based on the Swedish Defence University’s research on Developmental Employee-ship (UM) for thousands of employees in both the private and public sectors. We are also licensed in the Defence University’s concepts and train leaders and managers in Developmental Leadership (UL) and Indirect Leadership (IL). Organisations that train both leaders and employees using this research often report benefits for both individuals and teams. A shared language and understanding of these models across the organisation lead to greater job satisfaction, improved performance, and better organisational results.
We are also licensed to use the MTAM (Management Team Assessment Model), a scientifically developed tool specifically designed for management teams. With the support of MTAM, it is possible to create greater alignment and increased efficiency in boards and executive teams. We also support managers and CEOs individually through coaching.
